Bridger Konkel is a talented and motivated young artist who lives in Near Wolf, Wyoming. He has been drawing seriously since the age of five and painting in watercolors and oils since the age of 8.
Bridger has studied and painted with a number of professional artists in Wyoming that include T. Allen Lawson, Geoff Parker, Ned Jacob, Kathy Wifler and Crystal Foreman Brown. It was during these workshops that Bridger began selling his paintings....to fellow artists.
Painting outdoors is Konkel's preference. When forced inside he works from his field sketches and photographs. In April 2000 Bridger won 1st place in his age group in the Wyoming Junior Federal duck Stamp Competition. For four consecutive years he placed 1st in the Sheridan Arts Council Fine Art Show.
The demand for Bridger's paintings increases annually. He has collectors from around the country. Currently he has his work hanging in Washington DC, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Iowa, Montana and Wyoming.
